Built circa 1860 for the prominent Aghion family, the building was inspired by the ‘Italian Passage’ Milanese Galleria architectural style. The property hosted a number of notable tenants including The Victor Hugo College, well-known musical instrument retailer Papasian & Co, and the Turkish Chamber of Commerce.
